"I think the lyrics don't actually matter that much to me. I really like what I do understand, and the rest, I let the emotion of the song take over. I fell in love with them when they were only singing German and I didn't understand what they were saying then, either, but the music and the emotion in Bill's voice (whichever song he'd be singing) just worked for me, made me feel. I'm a huge fan of Nirvana and Pearl Jam, and some of their lyrics are quite difficult to understand, but it's the same sort of thing. I don't have to know what they're saying to feel their hurt."

Same, same, same.

It's nice that people here can have a discussion that's not all positive without sounding like butthurt children. Some of the comments on YT are so bitter that I can't even begin to understand where they're coming from. And if these are fans from before Humanoid, you'd think they'd have learned that TH isn't going to conform to their expectations.
